Enforcement
of Condominium Association laws can be the most difficult obstacle to
both a board and property managers. Tenant issues between other tenants,
and even against the board can be a distraction for the entire
community.
We first believe the best option is to
meet with the tenant and the board to discuss the issues and attempt to
both mediate and mitigate an improvement and better relationship between
all parties. Normally, a rowdy or un-cooperative tenant just needs some
special attention and guidance to understand the rules and laws special
to a condominium association.
The power resides with the board to
resolve all problems within a community between members. To alienate a
tenant by isolation and threats rarely results in a resolve to
relationships. |

We have found a better approach is to
address the situation from a point of co-operation and advisement to
both the tenant and the board to normalize the situation. This can
usually be done in the clubhouse without further disputes. Our
Attorneys are also trained mediators and can work with tenants and the
boards to resolve problems amicably and without violence. |
